Risk Management
Vero operates in a tightly regulated industry. We approach that environment according to our key values of:
- honesty
- teamwork
- urgency and
- respect.
Vero Risk Management works within a comprehensive risk framework to ensure that consistent standards apply across Vero. Our risk management process complies with both the Prudential Standard GPS 220 and accompanying Guidance Notes issued by APRA in November 2001, the joint Australia/New Zealand standard AS/NZS 4360:2004 on risk management, and Australian Standard AS3806-2006 on compliance.
Above all, we understand that our performance is critical to our success and that statements alone are not enough. We regularly monitor risk control and test key controls.
This focus on our business processes and their outcomes is the key to our high performance. We constantly evaluate our policies, compliance and the market in which we operate, by asking ourselves how we can improve.
Vero's Australian Financial Services Licence number is 230859.
