10th Anniversary Event Crew
The ADA 10th Anniversary Dinner was held on 15 September 2006 at Sydney's Parliament House. Between 3pm and midnight, several Vero staff assisted ADA to set up the room prior to the cocktail event and others to act as table hosts during the dinner. The hosts were allocated 2-3 tables. They encouraged the guests to participate in the silent auction, to make puppy pledge donations, and sold raffle tickets. The 22 Vero volunteers contributed to the success of the night with a massive $55,000 raised. This money will cover the cost to raise and train three new puppies.
National Puppy Showers
An ADA puppy shower and morning tea was held at our Brisbane office on 26 September 2006. Staff had the opportunity to cuddle a puppy for $2, and the pups were popular with $195 raised for ADA at the event.
The Hobart office had a very special visit from ADA on 17 July 2006 and got to meet Scotty. Over morning tea, ADA presented Scotty (the ADA puppy) to his new owner Scott Shaw. (additional info in article on file)
The Melbourne office also had a coffee and cuddles morning tea in July 2006. Staff made a gold coin donation to cuddle a puppy, with $62.40 raised on the day.
