Step 1

The process of getting a quote with the Equipment Breakdown Web Tool is quick and easy.

• Enter in the client details in the “New Client” screen – the only required information here is the client’s name.
• Enter in the risk details in the “New Quote” screen - risk address, asset values, occupancy, claims history and deductibles are entered here.
• Hit the “Premium” button to generate a premium – should you wish to test several premium options, you have the ability to go back and alter excesses and commission, then hit “Premium” again

Step 2

Once a premium shows on screen, you can print or save a quote in PDF format, and even e-mail it to yourself or your client through the quote tool should you wish.

If the risk turns out to be a referral, the premium will not generate on screen – what you will see is a message letting you know why the account is a referral in detail.

From here your assigned underwriter will be notified immediately so they can address any issues and get back to you as quickly as possible.

Step 3

Once the Equipment Breakdown quote has been reviewed and accepted by your client, you can bind cover on-line anywhere you have access to the web. The Equipment Breakdown Web Tool also allows you to issue a Policy Schedule direct to your client via e-mail. The Equipment Breakdown Web Tool is quick, efficient and convenient.
