On Tuesday 1 December 2009, Vero received notification that an administrator was to be appointed to Paulding Constructions Pty Ltd.
To assist you in determining whether you have an entitlement to claim against Paulding Constructions Pty Ltd’s warranty insurance, please see below:
NO CONTRACT
Without a contract being signed between the parties there is no insurable event to which the policy can respond, irrespective of whether a policy of insurance has been issued.
APPLIANCES OUTSTANDING
If you have paid the final payment under your contract and your appliances have yet to be installed, Vero will supply and install those appliances.
Homeowners need to submit a completed and signed claim to Vero. The link below will take you to our claim form. We also require copies of the following documents to accompany your claim:
- A complete copy of the Building Contract
- Specifications and/or variations specific to appliances, and
- Evidence, such as a receipt or bank statement confirming final payment was made.
If the final payment has not yet been made, then you would have an incomplete works claim.
INCOMPLETE WORKS
If you have signed a contract and works have commenced, you are entitled to make a claim with Vero. As circumstances may vary from one contract to another, a completed and signed claim form for non-completion, with necessary documents attached needs to be submitted to Vero.

claim:
- A complete copy of the Building Contract
- Specifications
- Any variations to the contract
- Council approved floor, site, elevation and engineering plans
- Receipts and/or bank statements evidencing all payments made under the contract to Paulding Constructions Pty Ltd, and
- Photos substantiating the stage of construction at the time Paulding Constructions ceased works.
WORKS NOT YET COMMENCED
If you have signed a contract however works have not yet commenced, you may be entitled to claim a refund of your deposit paid to Paulding Constructions Pty Ltd under the contract.

- A complete copy of the Building Contract, and
- Evidence, such as a receipt or bank statement confirming payment of the deposit.
DEFECTS
Vero will assess and rectify any claim received for defects if a breach of statutory warranty has occurred, resulting in a loss.

To ensure an accurate assessment of your defect claim, we request that you provide a clear description under Section 4 of the claim form of each item being claimed. Should you have any photos of the items being claimed, please also attach them to your claim form.
