Matt Pearson has worked in the general insurance industry for over 20 years. He brings extensive insurance management experience to his role of Executive General Manager Commercial Claims.
Between 2004 and 2010 Matt held the positions of Chief Financial Officer at Suncorp Commercial Insurance and Chief Financial Officer at Suncorp General Insurance, and was active in the integration of the Suncorp and Promina commercial businesses following the merger.
Matt has a background in general and life insurance, stockbroking (as an insurance sector analyst), chartered accounting and mergers and acquisitions in the insurance sector. Matt is a Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Business (Distinction) from the University of Technology, Sydney.
