Last month, we stepped up support for brokers and customers with the release of our Small Business COVID-19 Relief Package for SME business, commercial and workers compensation customers, including the ability to access a 6-month premium deferral for eligible policies.
As a broker, you can now apply on behalf of your small business customer to defer the applicable annual premium payment or monthly instalments, using our online request form.
Please refer to the terms and conditions section of the page for the details on eligible policies.
If the policy is premium funded, any deferral or payment relief will need to be managed directly with the premium funder. Refunds will only be issued where a cancellation of cover has been instructed by the broker following discussions with the customer and premium funder where applicable.
